The Musical Instrument Department have been undertaking specialist quarterly auctions for over 30 years with four dedicated sales held each year at our Corsham saleroom.
These highly successful auctions attract professional players looking to upgrade their instruments, students, collectors and international dealers.
Most notably we had the privilege of selling the Christopher Hogwood Collection of Keyboards which realised over half a million pounds.
Stringed Instruments Stringed instruments are individually appraised by our consultant and sold in individual section to include bows, violins, violoncellos and double basses.
Folk Instruments and Guitars feature in the auctions held in Corsham. There is always a strong demand for quality instruments in this category.
Brass and Woodwind A good selection of these instruments is always represented, ranging from student to professional and collectable and covering all areas of band and orchestra.
